Tom bought his first home in 1979 using the 'First Time Home Buyers' program. He is a native New Mexican born and raised in Albuquerque.

He sold both businesses he owned in Las Cruces, and is happy to have joined The Steinborn & Associates Real Estate office. He has extensive knowledge in consumer financing and residential mortgages. He also understands how important your home is, whether you are buying or selling. He is totally committed to meeting your needs whether you are a first time home buyer, a buyer moving up, sellers wanting to move up or downsize, and of course relocating to our wonderful city of Las Cruces.

He also has the SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification) from the National Association of Realtors. And has just completed the extensive CDPE® course. Certified Distressed Property Expert.

He has served the Las Cruces community on various boards and clubs, and many times has been the president or chair of these community boards.  He also serves on various committees for the Las Cruces Realtors and Realtors of New Mexico. He has 2 daughters, Stephanie, a proud graduate of NMSU in Community Health, and Jessica, a student in Fashion Design in Los Angeles, CA. He is also very proud of his son-in-law Robert: a 2006 graduate of NMSU and a Captain in the United States Army.
